We recognise the importance of your personal information, and we are committed to ensuring the security of your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. With this in mind, we have created this Recruitment Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”) to explain to you how we handle (including, but not limited to, collecting, using, storing, providing, and deleting) your personal information, and how we safeguard your rights with respect to your personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of your job application information through online and offline channels by EiM Group or any schools or programmes under the house of brands of the EiM Group (https://www.eimglobal.com/). This Privacy Policy does not apply to services provided to you by third-party recruitment websites, etc., and such services are subject to the personal information processing rules separately provided to you by the third parties. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you click to agree to this privacy policy or actively submit your job search information, it will be deemed that you are aware of and agree to our processing of your personal information in accordance with legal requirements and this Privacy Policy. Collection and Use of Personal Information
Personal information refers to any information, recorded electronically or otherwise, that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, excluding information that has been anonymized. Sensitive personal information refers to personal data that, if disclosed or misused, could easily infringe upon an individual's personal dignity or endanger their personal or property security. Sensitive personal information will be prominently marked with an underline. We will process such information strictly for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and do not anticipate any material impact on your personal rights and interests.
For the purposes of recruitment and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, we need to process the personal information you submit when applying for a position with us. The specific information processed will be based on the job application details you provide and generally includes the following:
- Your name, nickname, gender, date of birth, nationality, place of birth, place of residence;
- Your job search account login information, including registered email address and login password;
- Your contact address, contact email address, mobile phone number and other contact information;
- Your educational background, including the name and duration of attendance at educational institutions, major, academic qualifications, degrees, coursework, academic performance, extracurricular activities, and awards received;
- Your employment history, professional field, language proficiency, and any professional/work-related licenses, permits, or certifications held, including previous teaching experience, educational qualifications, employer names, job titles, employment/internship periods, job responsibilities, performance records, whether you are or were an employee of our Group, any disciplinary records at previous employers, any past lawsuits or complaints related to employment, any labor disputes with former employers, any criminal record, or any regulatory sanctions;
- The position applied for, preferred work location, reasons for application, job preferences, and internship schedule;
- Any additional information included in your voluntarily submitted résumé, cover letter, or other documents.
For the legitimate purposes of conducting background checks related to your job application, we may also obtain your personal information and other relevant data from lawful sources, such as public databases, social media platforms, third-party service providers, and other business partners (e.g., background check agencies, personal referrals). This includes any information or materials received during or prior to the recruitment process. We will make reasonable efforts to verify the legality of these information sources and ensure the security of your personal information.
To ensure an accurate assessment of your job application and suitability for the position, please ensure that the personal information you provide is truthful, complete, and not misleading. Submitting inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application or disciplinary actions, including termination of employment. Providing personal information as part of your job application is voluntary. However, if you fail to provide sufficient information, we may be unable to fully evaluate your application, which could affect our consideration of your employment. Additionally, after hiring, insufficient or inaccurate information may impact your future promotions or transfers.
Upon your acceptance of an offer, for the purpose of completing your onboarding process, we may continue to use the aforementioned personal information and additionally collect the following personal information. The specific information required will be subject to the onboarding requirements of your designated position:
- Your bank account information, ethnicity, identification photo, passport information and identity card information, work and residence permits, professional qualifications, hukou, immigration information, salary information, religious beliefs, health information, marital and child-related information, certificate of no criminal record and other information.
Some of the information you provide may involve third-party personal information (e.g., spouse, children, emergency contacts, background check contacts, referees, employment details). You must ensure that you have obtained the necessary authorization and consent from the relevant individuals and that your submission does not infringe upon their privacy, trade secrets, or other legitimate rights and interests.
We will process the personal information you submit when applying for a position with us for recruitment, management, and planning purposes and/or to comply with any applicable laws and regulations. The recruitment, management, and planning purposes include:
- Registering a job application account, processing your job application, and verifying the personal information you provide during the recruitment process;
- Assessing whether your personal information matches the requirements of the position you applied for, including for interviews and candidate selection;
- Contacting you regarding your application;
- Notifying you of suitable job opportunities;
- Maintaining our talent database to match candidates with future job openings;
- Managing talent and conducting human resources assessments at the group level;
- Conducting background checks upon hiring;
- Facilitating pre-employment procedures;
- Protecting our other legitimate interests;
- Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
- Any other processing purposes permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
If you are hired, the personal information we collect related to your job application will be incorporated into our human resources system and used for new employee management. This information will become part of your employee record and be used for other employment-related purposes. Additional processing purposes will be outlined in the related personal information protection policy provided to you upon onboarding.
For the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, applicants do not include minors under the age of 14. Therefore, we do not collect personal information from minors under 14 years old, except for information provided by applicants regarding their children. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child under the age of 14 has provided us with personal information as an applicant, please contact us via the email address provided below. Upon verification, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Use of Cookies (Browser Cache Text Files) and Similar Technologies
When you submit a CV through our online channels, we collect information from your browser or device, which may include personal information. This typically includes your domain name and location, the pages you visit, search terms and search engines you use, and the web browser you are using. Sharing of Personal Information
In the process of handling your personal information, we may share your personal information with third parties, including:
- Sharing within the Group or with brand schools: To process your CV, job application, and related procedures, we may share your personal information with affiliated companies within our Group and with schools or programs under the EiM’s house of brands (if applicable). We will take necessary measures to ensure that the shared personal information is effectively protected and properly handled.
- Sharing with your consent or voluntary selection: We will share your personal information externally only when we have obtained your consent or when you have voluntarily chosen to share it.
- Sharing in accordance with legal requirements: We may share your personal information externally in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, litigation, or mandatory requests from government authorities.
- For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we may engage third-party service providers to assist us in delivering relevant operational and service support. In this process, to provide you with services, we may allow third-party service providers to process personal information necessary for them to perform their functions. However, we will not permit them to use your information for any other purposes. Service providers may include, but are not limited to, technical support providers, human resources service providers, and recruitment service providers.
If we need to transfer your personal information due to reasons such as mergers, acquisitions, dissolution, or bankruptcy, we will notify you, informing you of the name(s) and contact details of the recipient(s), and ensure that your personal information is protected in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We will not disclose information that you have not made publicly available, unless required by applicable laws and regulations or with your consent.

We may retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described, or for the period required or permitted by applicable laws. In determining the retention period, we consider various factors, such as the impact of deleting certain information or information about you on our ability to provide certain services, mandatory retention periods prescribed by law, and applicable statutes of limitations.
Once we determine that retaining your personal information is no longer consistent with the purposes for which it was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes, we will cease retaining your personal information or delete the information related to you.

However, please understand that the internet is not a fully secure environment. Due to technical limitations and the potential existence of various malicious methods, we cannot always guarantee the absolute security of information. Cross-border Transferring of Personal Information
The personal information you submit in relation to your job application will be stored within China. For specific recruitment processes that require overseas interviews or assessments, when you apply for these positions, we may share your job application information across borders with DULWICH COLLEGE MANAGEMENT ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. [101 THOMSON ROAD, #19-01/03 UNITED SQUARE, Singapore (307591)], in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The aforementioned personal information will be stored in Singapore, and the overseas recipient will store and use your personal information in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Privacy Policy. You may contact the overseas recipient or exercise your rights related to personal information by emailing [email protected]. In these circumstances, we will inform you separately and obtain your explicit consent.
Your Rights Regarding Personal Information
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, you have the right to access, copy, correct, delete, and exercise other rights concerning your personal information. You can contact us using the contact details provided in this Privacy Policy for assistance.
- Right to Access and Correct: After submitting your information, you can view your personal information through the online job application system. If you believe that your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can correct or update it.
- Right to Obtain a Copy of Your Personal Information: You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information. If you need a copy of the information we have collected about you, you may contact us at any time. Within the limits of applicable laws and technical feasibility, we will provide a copy of your personal information as requested.
- Right to Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal information in the following circumstances:
- The purpose of the treatment has been achieved, cannot be achieved or is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of the treatment;
- When we have ceased to provide a product or service, or the retention period has expired;

- Other cases stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
- Right to Restrict or Refuse Processing of Personal Information and Withdrawal of Consent: You have the right to restrict or refuse our processing of your personal information. However, please note that if you restrict or refuse us from using your personal information or withdraw your consent, it may affect the recruitment process or future employment relationships between us. When you withdraw consent or authorization, we will no longer process the relevant personal information. However, the withdrawal of consent or authorization will not affect the personal information processing activities that were conducted based on your prior consent or authorization.
- Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account. After receiving your account deletion instructions, we will delete your account and personal information, unless otherwise required by law or regulation. Please be aware that account deletion is irreversible, so we recommend you carefully consider this decision.
- Other Personal Information Rights: We will ensure the protection of other personal information rights as provided by applicable laws and regulations, such as the rights of next of kin for deceased individuals, and the right to request an explanation of our privacy statements.
For security purposes, we may first request verification of your identity (such as requiring written documentation or other means) before processing the aforementioned requests. We will respond to your request within 15 working days, or within the period stipulated by applicable laws and regulations. We may refuse requests that are unreasonable, require excessive technical efforts (such as requiring the development of a new system or a fundamental change to existing practices), pose a risk to others' legitimate rights, are impractical, or involve business secrets, and will provide an explanation for the refusal.
