Our Group Head of Events and Educational Partnerships, Edgar Zillmann, shared exciting new updates about the upcoming months, highlighting several significant milestones that our community can look forward to:
Among the highlights are the Diversity Arts Series, which will welcome world-renowned musicians, poets, fine artists, and dance groups to conduct workshops and performances that transcend traditional classroom learning. The continued partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company will bring back the highly anticipated RSC Residency, Worldwise Shakespeare Festival and Drama & English PD, offering students and teachers the unique opportunity to experience the world-leading rehearsal room techniques of RSC, providing hands-on, immersive experiences in drama, English and theatre.
Additionally, the much-anticipated group-wide festivals such as the Worldwise Festival of Music, Worldwise Primary Games and MADD Festival will all return, bringing together hundreds of students for enriching, holistic experiences that foster collaboration, creativity, and shared learning across our family of schools. Alongside this, cornerstone events such as the biennial Shackleton Lectures continue to inspire adventurous thinking and change-making, while the Student Leadership Journey promotes leadership, collaboration and personal growth. Some projects have grown into global scale like the EiM-ANU Planet Hack, a collaborative STEM hackathon in partnership with Australia National University, welcoming students from all the schools in the EiM family.
This year's programme promises to cultivate a deep sense of creativity, leadership, and community among students, teachers, and our entire family of schools, while offering holistic learning experiences that support both personal growth and academic development. Stay tuned for the complete lineup of our Worldwise Events programmes. We eagerly anticipate a remarkable year filled with intercultural collaboration, enriching experiences, and lasting memories.
What are Worldwise Events?
Worldwise Events are hands-on collaborative learning experiences for members of the Dulwich community combining theory and real-world application to foster meaningful, long-lasting connections across our schools and colleges. For students, these events allow further understanding of their world and their ability to make an impact while developing socio-emotional competencies and preparing for life beyond school. For teachers, these experiences provide unique opportunities to connect, share best practices and learn from each other while developing themselves professionally with world-renowned practitioners and educators. And, joining as both audience and active participants, parents and alumni are able to play a core and continuing part of the global Dulwich family. For everyone, Worldwise Events are not only thrilling experiences but also expansive and inspiring demonstrations of the talent, dedication and collaborative power within our community.
